Mew mirrors on my bike today

will you infor me in on why you didnt get the ones with the turn signals mounted on them? I wonder how difficult it would me to installed the mirrors with turn signals mounted in them and take off the front turn signals?
 
Wow! Those mirrors look great, I've always hated the big bug mirrors but wasn't sure
if anything else would fit. The mirrors with turn signals too would be great also.

So just to elaborate, any of those mirrors on that page will bolt on? I'm hovering over the buy button right now lol...

OOOOH ok I just read in description that its an adjustable mounting point...ok these are being bought immediately haha.

I just cant bring myself to believe that they are any better then the stock ones...i'm a doubting thomas!!! :)

How are they better if they have a shorter stalk...do you have to angle them out alot more so instead of seeing alot more right behind you, you are forced to only see what is either side of you as opposed to directly behind you???

is it possible to get a shot of you sitting on the bike showing the view from behind through the mirrors? (as if you were riding along)
 
if you guys are worried about seeing, they also sell longer ones. the reason why i said they are better than stock is because you can move then up down,front, back. you can also move the mirror stock forward and back, where with the oem ones you couldnt. i am 6ft and big and i can see just fine.

i do have them were i can see more to the sides of me. that what i use my mirrors for changing lanes. but can still see behind me to, a little better than stock. by the longer one i bought the smallest ones. and i am very happy dont care as much as seeing behind me.
 
I just ordered a pair... I barely use my mirrors, so if they aren't as functional as the stock ones, it doesn't bother me. I don't trust anything unless I see it with my own 2 eyes when I turn my head.

thats how i feel:thumbup: i have learnd the hard way, dont belive it unless you see it with your own two eyes. witch ones did you order? and when you install take off your wind shield its alot easy'er

Carbon fiber ones... I'm going to have a pair of a pair of Scorpion fiber glass cans down the road (the new style) once they come in stock too.. so it will all match well.

I'm thinking the same thing, I've got the CF M-4's (and soon the Targa Carbon Fiber tank pads).
I wouldn't get anything that let me see directly behind myself any worse than what I've already got, but if Kirk has longer-stemmed ones, I may be hitting my credit card again! :thumbup:
 
ok just got back from a long ride, now to clear things up you can see real good on both sides but not as good behind you, with out moving your head. it took some time and i got them adjusted just right. but if you realy on you mirrors all the time and dont turn your head behind you then you might want to order a longer stem
 
i have an extra pair of the same ones for sale. i bought 2 pairs one for my fz6 and one for my other bike, but just going to sell my other bike
 
Yea I like the ones you got, but it just seems like your bike is missing something with the smaller mirrors and flush mount LED's. I am trying to keep the factory signals down there.
 
Can anyone that bought the ones with the turn signals give a review. I am seriously considering this but don't want to be disappointed. Thanks
