Legal drag racing is fun and I've only done it once at the track in Baytown, TX. It wasn't on a bike, though, but with my old 2000 GMC Sierra Z71. Best time I got was 16.66 sec's. It still had everything on it (including tailgate) and BFG AT tires. I had fun even though I lost every race, think it was 6 runs. Each run was faster than the last.

Looks like a fjr1300 to me

Yep, that's a Gen II FJR, slightly higher gearing (lower RPM's at highway speeds).

My friends Gen II would not power wheelie no matter what. My 04 will power wheelie at 4K RPM in first and second gears with just manipulating the throttle.

I know my Gen I FJR will take the FZ in the 1/4 mile, but that's a Gen II in the video...

Plus judging by that pic that there are still banners on the side of the track im thinking that pic was taken shortly after launch....not sayin anything bad but thats really tight margins for the end of the track
