I wouldn't have thought tip over switches would be a good idea on a race bike due to the extreme lean angles they achieve (35 degrees for MotoGP isn't it?).
I wouldn't have thought tip over switches would be a good idea on a race bike due to the extreme lean angles they achieve (35 degrees for MotoGP isn't it?). But you would think there'd be a remote kill: so the pit lane could shut it off in the event of the rider requiring shoveling off the track.

I also thought (and could very well be wrong,) that the riders have a tether to them and to the bike. If the rider is off the bike for some reason (a get off), it kills the engine (like a boat safety igntion switch).
It's almost double.
