Reserve?

So, as a new owner of this fine machine I understand there is a reserve on this bike. The question I have is, what kind of indication do you see when you hit reserve and how many miles are left.

The fuel gauge will say "f-trip" and the last indicator will blink when you have .95 gallons left. So depending how many mpg you get will affect how many miles you have left.

Also, the trip meter will count up from zero letting you know how far you've traveled since the low-fuel light came on. I tend to roll another 20-30 miles. I usually get 50mpg but I really don't want to run the fuel pump dry.

I think I've put 40+ miles on the F-trip the first couple times. Probably not the best idea, it's not that heavy, but I don't want to push it to the gas station! I usually fill up every ~170 miles these days, gets me about 3 commutes, I fill up where it's cheap even though I could push it.
