I searched and couldn't find out if this has been asked, so here goes.

Has anyone ordered and retrofit the European FZ6N headlight and retrofit it to their half-faired (i.e. US or Canadian) bike? If so, is it a direct bolt-on modification? Where did you buy it and how much was it?

BTW, I already know of the kit available for the FZ1, but I want the stock FZ6 light. I want it to fit as stock with very little to no modification.

Burlington used to sell the FZ6N kit too, though I don't see it on their website. If you call them they should be able to get it for you. Pricey - If I remember right it was over $900.

EDIT: The FZ6N kit would be a bolt on. The FZ1N takes some modification.

Thanks for the replies.

OUCH! $900 bucks is steep! Sometimes I wonder why this stuff is so d*mn expensive!

And you just know that the production of these units are probably sub-contracted out in some chinese/indian sweat shop for about $50 a pop
