Ride for KawiDavis.

It is his birthday. He was killed last year sitting on his ninja at a stop by a dumptruck. I think he was only 15. Anyway he was a nice guy and his family has asked that riders go and ride on his birthday, and think about him for a second. He was a member on the ninja250 board. The youngest member.

Anyway, I will be riding west on 68/80 leaving out in the morning.

being the only one close to you i feel obligated to reply.....I'd love to join you man, but i'll be in Cinci for a wedding this weekend. But it's nice to know that if this crazy passion of ours kills us we have such a tight knit community to remember us.

We Joined You In Spirit

today, (actually we just walked in the door) we rode a 122 mile loop, up the S-22 into borrego springs, we stopped for a minute at christmas circle in the park, continued on the S-3 into the 78 then we took the S-2 up to the top of the mountain turning back onto the S-22(montazuma rd.) through ranchita back down the face of the mountain into borrego springs, stopping at the park again, before returning to Salton City on the S-22.

This was my wifes first "real" ride on her Ninja 250R. she did really good!!!
now I think shes addicted to motorcycling. (which is awesome)
over all today was the most fun I've had in a while!!! already planning our next ride.

hope every one else who rode today had a good time!!!

I missed out on riding today, and probley wont get to ride for a long time.
My girlfriend told me she is moving back to texas next year. I have had a uncomfortable feeling that something is up for a while.
I am not into providing her and her 3 kids a place to live for a year untill she gets ready to leave. Thats bullcrap. I told her so. I just dont see how that is fair to me at all. She started working full time, and has been leaving her kids here for me to watch, its a bunch of crap, and I told her to go ahead and find some place else to live, cause I am not going to waste my time.

So no riding for me today. To upset and would probley wreck.

That sucks man. From the little I know you, you seem like a level headed reasonable guy. It sounds like you have been really supportive of her and her kids (admirable and I commend you for that). Because of this, you don't deserve to be "hit between the eyes" unexpectedly. I think your response is fair and I would feel the same way.

You are smart not to ride when you are upset. Once your are no longer upset, I am sure that riding will help you sort this all out, and give you what you need to get through it.

Thanks, I appreciate it.

I have spent from when I logged off till now completely taking the kitchen apart and cleaning it. It looks really nice.
I have not had any nicotine since 6-20-07 at 1030 pm. I havent smoked since 5-6-07. I am going to succede in not smoking today, well I already did for yesterday, and now its today again. LOL The cleaning got my mind off my problems and kept me from smoking as well. So thats good.

I will have a hard time getting to ride.
I dont have any actual geneticly children of my own. I do have full permenant custody of my niece. She has lived with me her entire life. She will be 5 on Jul 2 07. I wont have anyone to watch her.
Her mother is doing better and Trinity is getting to visit with her every other friday from 715am-315pm. I let her stay all night the last visit so I might get one day every two weeks, unless I pay someone to watch her so I can ride. Her mom is just not really interested in raising her. Maybe as she gets older it will be better.
She was 14 when she had Trinity so now she is only 19. The dad is a scum ball and is in prison where he fits right in.

It really brakes my hart to hear stuff like this. Good man for steping up. Keep your head up because you seem like the kind of guy that does it with ease.;)

Trinity's mom wants to keep her for the weekend. So that is good. Trin's birthday is the 2cnd so that is cool. She went with me to work today, two aquariums, and then we went to movies.
Watched Evan Almighty. It is a cool movie. I enjoyed it.
I may take off on the bike this weekend and let Tiffany do what ever see feels like she needs to do, packing and such.

Hang in there.......life is like a long bike ride, you will encounter some bumpy areas, we all have.......but it will smooth out...give it some time. According from all of your posts, you seem to have the knowledge, skills and ability in the FZ6's and riding experiences. If we ever got together for a group ride like previously mentioned in another post, as far as I'm concerned, you have earned my respect for you and your bike to be up front leading all of us! Great job on the NS....Ironically... I haven't had a drink since I got my bike on the 6th of April. NO Booze, hard to do in this town where it's available 24/7 and it's pretty much free in the casinos.
