Tactical Boots for Motorcycle Riding

I used to wear a pair of German Paratrooper boots (circa 93) they were brilliant, comfortable off and on the bike and waterproof. Army surplus stores will have some fantastic bargains. I personally wouldn't fork out for a pair of these boots with so much other kit being available at better prices. The other advantage is that some other poor bugger has broken them in for you.

I have a pair of Haix leather firefighting boots (lace up/zipper) which I'll use for colder days. More protection than I'll ever need (hopefully) and comfortable/waterproof and warm.
