Tailight intermitent LED replacement

I have a friend who uses these LED replacements on his BMW: Road Rocketeer - Brake! LED Taillight Upgrade.

I was wondering if any of you have experience with a similar MOD. Any advise would be appreciated!

Thank you for your post. What I was looking for specifically was a kit/mod that emits intermittently when you hit the brakes. I think it helps with the visibility, but also draws the attention of the drivers behind you. What was sweet about that company is that they had "plug-n-play" kits (for kawi, bmw, ktm) that you replace the stock taillights with, and can set the frequency you have. Pretty nice, but I'm bummed they don't make anything for Yamaha's apparently. I don't get it
