Decided to change my tire from this

Relatively inexpensive mod, and gives the excuse of scrubbing in to make you go for a ride....'cause i need an excuse...lol.

But, I always thought not to apply tire shine on motorcycle tires 'coz it causes to loose traction........

That's just water...lol...been up in the hills scrubbing in in the rain...again. 4th tire I've scrubbed in in the rain on this bike. Doh!

Two unconventional methods for getting rid of the wax coating:

1. Douse a rag in petrol or similar solvent and wipe it off.
or
2. Lay a burn out and burn it off.

Seen both methods used and had to laugh at a mate laying a burnout in the backyard just to wipe off the wax.

I dare say that the above methods could reduce the life of the tyre. I prefer to do mine the old fashioned way.

Petrol too expensive to waste on tires...lol....I could raise the rear and sand them down but where's the fun in that...lol
