I'm doing a longer trip on all highway from CT to Chicago to Nashville and back home. Any idea if going through Ontario would be an improvement over going through PA and OH? Also, I need a night in W VA on the leg home. Any suggestions for a cool town to stay in? Thanks.

If you come through the eatern panhandle of WV we'd have to meet for a ride!

there are great twisty roads in PA and OH.

berkely springs, wv is a nice small town.
it was a big vacation destination like 100 years ago.
also, try harpers ferry.

if you want to camp then there are camp spots in george washington and monongahela natl forest.
try the campsite in brandywine. it's pretty spooky there...plus it's a radio dead zone, so it's like stepping back in time. you'll still see pay phones. your cell phone won't work. no calls for help.

when are you leaving? keep in mind that's it's close to 100F and humid here. stay hydrated.

One thing to keep in mind, you'll need a passport if traveling to/from Canada.
