va riding?

i posted before that i picked up an 09 fz6 ...
i actually wanted to see if there is anyone in the va richmond area or so that wants to go riding sometime that would be pretty sweet!

I used to live in the Tidewater area. The ride along the George Washington canal was real nice in those days(1972), it should still be a good ride. GRUMPY

i grew up in chesapeake. usually the only time i get up there is on holidays and i'm with the family in the minivan. just recently i did ride up there on my bike. i had to go over to elizabeth city, nc to speak at a youth ministers retreat. after it was over i road my bike up to visit with my mom for a bit. it was pretty nice coming up from EC. i got off the 17 4-lane and road on the swamp road for as long as i could. man i miss that place.

I'm in Williamsburg but go to school in Richmond. I might be up for some riding.

Do you know any good roads in Richmond or anywhere around there?

yeah what kind of roads do u like country curveys?

Yeah, some twisty roads would be good. I've got the Colonial Parkway around here which is decent for just cruising. There are a few back roads around here too that have some decent curves but they tend to be really narrow.

Anywhere that's not too busy and has some good curves?

yah theres a few really nice ones like old gun road which is my fav road
and there is the really short and extreme riverside drive u might have heard of them
