Just curious what everyone was riding before falling for the FZ6? My last bike was a '00 Road Star 1600 (the 1st pic was set up for touring with my nephew, Frank at the helm. The 2nd was after I set it up as sporty as I could get it). My previous bikes have also included (in chronological order) : '78 KZ1000, '83 Shadow 750, '01 Concours 1000 & '04 Hyosung GT250.

my last bike was a 98 ninja 250...i miss the MPG! lol
 
got back into riding 3-4 years back and bought a vtr 250
great bike and I think it is the perfect lead in to the fz

2001 ZX6R

This thing was FAST- I jetted it and added a +5 ignition advancer. I eventually made my Yoshi a shorty and repacked it. Man I miss that sound, cant wait to get some pipes for the FZ.
Would have been a great bike but the frame was a mess. I could never get all the fairings to line up correctly especially up at the front around the headlights. Its really hard to tell from the pic but pretty noticeable in person

The bike I had before that was my '98 CBR600F3, which I still have. .

I put so much work into that bike. When I bought it the plastics were cracked and broken, took alot of time and effort to make her look like this, as I did all the repairing and painting. Even recovered the seat. . It no longer looks this good though, I sold all the street parts and have been slowly turning it into a proper track bike. And yes, I have a thing for black bikes lol.

2004 Yamaha VStar 1100 Silverado. Beautiful bike but putting 5,000 miles on it in 5 years should tell you how much I hated riding it... it was like driving a bus. So much for my "I should grow up and act my age" period. :BLAA:
