what's the best chrome cleaner for my 4-pipe header?

I noticed Grahammarsden in the UK's FZ6 and his header is shining pretty silver !
My front 4-pipe header needs cleaned-up(never been cleaned by the PO,but always garaged)and I want the best chrome cleaner & polish I can get;what do you recommend ?

I used Autosol and a Dremel rotary polishing tool.

DO NOT use Harpic 10 (despite what people say). Yes, it will, briefly, get your headers nice and shiny, but the Hydrochloric Acid will damage the stainless steel and cause it to corrode faster afterwards.

I don't think we have Autosol here in the USA
This is a SS header ?
I could possibly find good SS polish,rather than chrome polish?

Actually, I took a different approach. A LONG time ago (2015) I sent my headers to Jet Hot Coatings (NC I think). Had them cleaned and coated in a bright silver. The pic below was taken 4 years ago, They look just as good today. They still need to be cleaned occasionally, but the are ALWAYS silver, never tarnished.

Be forewarned, a ride thru wet, dirty streets WILL cause stains after polishing.
So with that said, it is something to cntend woth once the heavy stuff is off.

I keep after mine by hand, NO SANDING, a micro fiber cloth and a couple of minutes..
Mines used for pleasure only and rarely see's wet roads, so not much of an issue for me..

dremel #1 or even drill. use soft pad. and metal polish. i use chemical guys heavy metal polish. but they also have light i think? the main difference being a more physical abrasive polish vs a more chemical one

Flitz and a polishing ball will make 80% of the work better. The other 20% will require lots of patience. Good Luck. Jet Hot Coating as mentioned above would work great too. If you have a commercial powder coater close to you, they can do it with a similar product. I did the jet hot to my 1989 Radian down pipes 10 years ago. Still looking great.
