Hello! Can anyone tell me what these wires are for?

My bike also makes a buzzing sound when I try to turn it on. Trying to figure out what's causing that

That are the wires to the oxygen sensor on an S2......

Trepetti gets an A for correctly identifying the O2 sensor. The buzzing sound could simply be the fuel pump priming.

There should be 4 wires to the O2 sensor a red with white tracer. A pink with a black tracer. A grey with a green tracer. A black with a blue tracer. Looks there has been at least damage to the outer jacket to that wire assembly. Possibly it was in close proximity to the exhaust up pipe.
Check that those wires are still insulated and repair it so there is a suitable jacket protecting those wires.
If the wires are undamage you might wrap them in some glass tape and then slit apiece of pex to slide over the damaged area.

And that "round thing" there, that adjacent hose should go thru it as well as the other line from the fuel tank...

Yours appears to be MIA.

The two lines are a tank VENT and a tank OVERFLOW-One coming from each side of the lower tank..

Unrelated but your chain looks pretty bad. You should clean and lube it at the very least.

Good catch, it’s kinked. Probably time for a replacement.
