2007 Yamaha FZ6 with LOTS of EXTRAS & EXTENDED WARRANTY till 2012

One owner and that's me. I bought my FZ6 brand new in August 2007. I purchased an extended warranty that is good till August 15, 2012. The bike is registered in Butts County Georgia and I have ALL the paperwork. I've serviced the bike at normal intervals per the manual with K&N oil filters and fully synthetic Castrol Power RS R4 4T oil. With all the extras and 4 year warranty, I am FIRM on the price of $7500. The extras are in the pictures below.

I've added two side saddle bags and top case by GIVI, which involve the GIVI brand side racks and top case rack. Valued at $1,068.47. Also in the picture is the red pin strips on the rims. It can be removed as it's only pin strip tape.

Here I've added a Garmin Zumo GPS, sport touring windshield by Cal Sci (Yamaha FZ6 Windshields), which provides outstanding wind protection on the Interstates. Also shown in the black case next to the throttle is a disc brake lock. For the GPS I also have the car mount so you can take it off the bike and use it in your car too. Valued at $510. The Cal Sci windshield is valued at $170. I also have the OEM windshield. The lock is valued at $80.

I've also replaced the bar ends with Throttlemeister brand throttle lock (Throttlemeister). Absolutely fantastic for long rides.

Here you'll see that I've got 6324 miles all of which I've put on.

Well, I broken a bone in my foot the first part of the month doing something not relayed to motorcycles, and while not riding due to my injury, my wife has expressed concern. Not that she's demanding that I get rid of my FZ, I'm simply having a responsibility check where I figure I'd better do something that's good for the whole family rather than continuing to do something just for moi. So I thought long and hard about it and decided to use the money for a boat as we live 5 minutes from a lake.

You are better off selling the extras separately and you will get more value too. They will sell fast here or at SBN.

Thats a GIVI alright, I went with the E21 for the side cases, his set up is expensive for me. So jealous........................ great set up again buddy.

I feel for you dude about your broken foot, though mine is not as serious as yours (dislocated right foot toe), the pain for me is now is just annoying now compared to when it first happened. Hate to see another rider get rid of his bike, couldn't you "have the cake and eat it too" type of deal, I mean the bike and the boat.

I will have to say if you are looking for a toy keep the bike and take the kids for a ride. I used to have a boat and the old saying goes true. " The two best days you have with a boat is the day you buy it and the day you sell it " I am a die hard when it comes to fishing that is why I will just buy a kayak!!!! Boats are really really expensive to keep and maintain :spank:. Just my thoughts though hate to see you get ride of the bike but good luck in selling it

Pretty tacky to make comments like these ^^^ IMO. I think you're a little off and it sounds like he's keeping the bike anyway.
