Okay, I would like to know how many members have been pulled over by the Polizei while riding on their motorcycles?

This poll has been created so that we can show that Sportrider is not in the minority of receiving tickets when pulled over.

I was pulled over on my first bike, a '74 Kawasaki Enduro. Didn't get a ticket but was told to walk it home because I didn't have a m/c license.

I haven't been pulled over on my last two bikes...Knock wood.

Nope... NADA... never... none... Everytime there's a LEO ahead, my spider sense tingles and I do all-but an emergency stop! :D

Was pulled over on the way to bike night at a local lakeside restaurant. Doing fifty something in a thirty something and the deputy wasn't pleased  No ticket  Because I stopped (1), had a license and insurance (2), he liked my FZ (3), and I was riding with my father n law (Duc ST4S) which the cop thought was pretty cool. It's all about being polite, admitting fault and vowing to respect the speed zones the next time you travel through his jurisdiction. Or hauling a** before they can turn around on you! :Flip:

True dat.

I've gotten warnings where I should've been hauled off a couple of times in my truck because every other word I said was "sir", and because they're Ford fans.

I've only been pulled over four times in my life, talked my way out of one (in a cage clocked doing 92 in a 55) once on a dirtbike (got a ticket for no registration, non-moving violation, pulled over while riding down the freeway, long story I'll tell ya about it later) once in my old el Camino ( pulled over for exibition of speed, nice 200 ft burn out leaving a store, no ticket the cop was a chevy guy) and today on the R1 (first moving violation ever)

Why, yes... yes I have. Pulled over, but no ticket. However, one of the other guys in our group did get a "fix-it" ticket. This is one of my favorite pictures that I've taken!

I've never been stopped on my bike. Came real close two days ago. It was a bike cop too. He definitely tagged me, but couldn't get out into traffic (too congested). I kept on going, and got off the next exit. Didn't run, just kept going the speed limit until the exit.
Now the cage, only ticketed once in a long time (pulled over three times). I try to sign up for track days when they come up...:Flash:

I thought I was gonna get stopped today. Was going a little too fast on a two lane highway and a CHP passed coming the other way. I looked in the mirror and saw him put on the brakes and I knew it would just be a few minutes before he turned around and caught me. But I rode on, slower of course, and he never showed up. There was another CHP about a mile behind him so maybe they were going somewhere more important.

All right folks, this is a question if we have ever gotten pulled over on our bikes, not being in our cage. As there is another thread and poll for that.

If a picture helps to help explain what I mean, member Troubl has been so kind to provide us with one.

Never been pulled over on the bike, but a cop did a U-Turn and followed me to work one night. I try very hard not to speed, I love my bike, and I have too far to go to work to risk losing my licence, and being on night shift means public transport is not an option.

:)

Unfortunately, I now have to say yes to this question. Was coming down Big Bear Mountain, got clocked doing 72 in a 55. I was really polite to the cop, called him sir several times. He wrote me up for 70 in a 65 to make the ticket cheaper, but unfortunately still got the ticket.:Flip:

Once on the bike because of my FAZR6 fender eliminator. No ticket but was told to modify it to make the license plate more visible. Hmm, haven't gotten around to doing that yet. ;)
