  • Happy Birthday mate , have a great day  When I get out of the office i'll sink a few coldies for you :D
    Hey there Buddy John,
Sounds like your fall weather is still good for riding. I try to ride to work when I can, but lately, it's been foggy in the morning. Not too cold here yet, but you can feel it coming. The AMA and SBK racing seasons have wrapped up, but there are still two MotoGP weekends to go. What a memorable year it's been since the day I picked up my FZ6. New adventures and interests - COOL! Have a great rest of the week and we'll talk again soon.

    Hi there John,
The picture of you and the "PoPo" is a good one. What do you do for a living anyway? I am a land surveyor. Here's a technical question for you. Is there any way to adjust the clutch release point of the FZ6? Mine engages when the clutch lever is most of the way released and I am used to having a clutch engage with the lever about 1/2 way open. Have a great weekend.
    Your buddy Blair
    Hey John, What's up buddy?
About this facebook thing. I never say too much, but find it interesting to hear what other people are saying. Also, it's really cool that I have befriended a lot of AMA motorcyle racers like Ben Bostrom, Josh Hayes, Josh Herrin and Tommy Aquino. It's cool seeing what they are up to. I also am linked to the AMA, SBK and MotoGP sites. They always keep you up to date with their happenings. On another note - it's almost here and I am psyched. Next weekend, Janice and I head to V.I.R. for my first live motorcycle event.
    Hope you are doing well,
    Blair
    Hey there John,
Good to hear from you. New tires, alright. Nothing makes a bike feel newer than fresh rubber. I watched all three races from Laguna Seca and loved it. I am losing interest in NASCAR and really being turned on by the motorcyle racing. As I tell my friends - MOTORACING - NO rain delays, NO cautions, NO pit stops, NO radio communication, NO roll cage, NO seat belts - NO FEAR! I don't know if I told you, but Janice and I are heading to Virginia International for the AMA races in August. My first trip to a motorace. All right!
    Take care,
    Blair
    Hi John,
It's good to see relatives, but it's good to get back to normal too. Not much riding this weekend. I'm kind of recovering from a 100 degree week here in PA. It had me wiped out. Back to work this morning and a quick Boundary Survey to do and then not sure what the rest of the work week will bring. Have a good ride today.
    Take care,
    Blair
    WOW JOHN!
Have a stiff drink or two for me today too!
I'm relaxing on a Sunday morning watching some tennis and putting out my NASCAR Daytona recap,

    Whew John,
I just finished reading "Twist the Wrist II" and it felt like I was studying for a college exam underlining almost every sentence in the book. Yes, I have 40 years of experience and much of the physics discussed in the book come naturally to me, but now I think about what I am doing while I do it. It was fun to read a couple of chapters and then go out for a practice ride. Even though I have all of that experience, I have never ridden a true sport bike in my past and can you imagine the thrill of "hanging off" for my first time ever. I realize that I don't have to be hauling ass through the turn to still have fun knowing that my technique, my traction control, my line and my throttle response was correct. It is only adding to my love of the FZ6.
So John, tell me what you've been up to lately. I hope you are having a great July 4th weekend.

    Hey there John,
How has it been going for you? I have been busy over the last month. The wedding of a neice in Boston, the graduation of a nephew in Philly and last week, the funeral of an aunt in upstate NY. Almost the entire gambit of events. And now the weather has become hazy, hot and humid, but I am riding to work every day. Recently I thought I should brush up on my motorcycling skills and purchased three books - "Street Strategies" by David Hough, "Motorcycling Exellence" by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation and "A Twist of the Wrist II" by Doug Chandler. It's been very informative. Hope you are having a good week.
    Take care,
    Blair
    Hi John,
A group ride. Great! It's been awhile since I took my last group ride. This weekend was another off bike weekend. For one thing the weather has turned hot and humid and in the 90's. Humidity so thick that you could cut it with a knife. On Saturday, Janice and I had to load up Mom and go to Philly for my newphew Tyler's graduation from high school. But this week is another off work week for me and so, I plan to ride. "I wanna ride, I wanna ride, I wanna ride!"
    Have a good week,
    Buddy Blair
    Hi John,
Dang those LEO's. Actually, it's been another week and weekend mostly off of the Fazer. I had so many chores to get done on this off work week. We had a visit from my vagabond nephew, Marty, this week. He's a cool kid and a real free spirit, kind of in the same form that his mother (my older sister) was in her days as a Hippie in the late 60's. He's a modern Hippie and I kind of envy his free lifestyle, but know also that I really do need a place to have my roots and call home.
    Have a good week John,
    Buddy Blair
YOU ARE THE MAN LEFTY! You have now done two things that I had been wondering about. A long distance ride. How did you feel after 300 miles? And taking your wife for a spin. Janice and I havn't done that one yet. So how did she like it?
    Take Care,
    Freak
    Hey there John,
What's up with you lately? Have you done any riding? I'm Jonsing for the FZ6. We had a wet last week and this past weekend Janice and I had to take Mom and go to my neice's wedding in Boston. The estimated five hour trip turned into a seven hour one including the traffic jam. Other than that, it was a good weekend with the family all rendezvouing in the big city. We had a blast at the reception with the help from the visit of Sam Adams. Now I need to ride!
    Take care,
    Blair
    Hey John Old Buddy,
I responded to your Friday email today (Saturday), but am not sure you received it. Let me know and I'll rewrite it for you.
