Re: Another Bike Hauler! Inspired by ant_mb :D
Thanks to the ideas here I did my trailer setup last weekend. Trailer is borrowed 5x8. Chock a the $40 Haulmaster from Harbor Freight. Once the front wheel is in there it holds solidl. This rig hauls nicely on the highway...
Thanks guys, maybe we will get more input on service shops, whether its tires, maintenance & repairs. Like most, I try to do what I can and leave the rest to the pros. Yet to bring the FZ to a Yamaha or any other shop as I've only had this bike since last summer. I will call around next week for...

Hey FZinNH,
Should be setting mine up this weekend. Thanks for the tips.
I will use the strap n cinch while standing technique so the bike doesnt fall over. Maybe I can rig a wooden block that is thick enough to set the side-stand on so...
Hi,
I have a set of BT-016s coming in soon. Can't wait to try them! :-)

Same here... ditched my risers to get lower then turned down the bar.
Just have to be careful not to lower them too far or you will mash your fingers!! Overall quick & easy fix. Being lower to you can take advantage of the windscreed. I do have to come up for air every now & then!

Nice rig! I am setting up a single 4x8 trailer to haul the bike up to track days or take on vacation. I had a question on the chock. Are you able to ride the bike into the chock, get off and strap it down on your own? In other words is it...
Now that's a sweet trip! Hit the Skyline & BlueRidge on the way down. I've been up to PEI and looped the Cabot in NS. Newfoundlands on my list someday. The GPS makes a long trip like that so much more relaxing. Plus you can find some great backroads & not worry about getting too lost or off track.
I have the Garmin 550 & really like it. Excellent touch screen, it's fairly rugged, been soaked many times, easy to use.The only thing close from Tom-Tom that I can compare it to is the Tom-Tom One that I bought to use a less expensive unit for a second automobile. More often than not, I take...
I have a light smoked PUIG Touring screen used last season, looks new condition and would like to trade got a PUIG Racing screen in similar condition. I have a Cee Bailey for long hauls.
I guess it's considered "smoke" color and fits an 07 FZ6.
