Very nice, low mileage FZ6 (8089 miles). Comes with almost new Michelin Pilot Road 4 tires, heated grips, HVRP bar ends (less vibration), bar risers for a more comfortable position, custom touring seat with removable backrest, Denali DM micro LED driving lights, Yamaha touring windshield with...
On Saturday I did my first track day at New York Safety Track. It was an amazing experience and I highly suggest it if you live in the Northeast. Friday I took the ride up from Long Island to Albany where my friend lives. I had the FZ6 in full touring mode. I had custom built hardcases, a tail...
Hi lads,
i got my first long journey out of the way since i got the FZ6, Kildare to Killarney, might need to invest in a touring seat or preparation H next time.

Hello,
Especially since my fz6 has been parked due to still unknown mechanical issues, I've been thinking about adding a new bike in my stable (I have no plan of getting rid of the fz6). I want something reliable, with good wind protection (my fz6 is naked), affordable, not too heavy and...
I haven't seen much info on these and thought of posting a few pics of my new Givi Touring WIndscreen that just arrived from Italy. The screen is massive guys I am 5'11 with a 32 inch inseam and this bad boy comes up to my eye level almost. I haven't had a chance to ride with it on the freeway...
I have the touring version of the screen and I feel it looks a little odd on the bike.
would be willing to trade my touring for OEM screen
or just buy one without trade.
I wanted to share my touring-oriented Fz6 and see other people's touring bikes (forgive me if such a thread already exists. If so maybe we can use this as an opportunity to parade new modifications). Anyway it's not pretty and it needs a good washing but it's my abomination and I love it...
The other day me and my gang went to celebrate the end of the summer season!

Few minutes from my lunch ride. Pretty much all of the roads around me are like this. One of the reasons I moved here :)
Oh and the ride up the driveway at the end.. FJR with sport touring tires is definitely not the best tool for the job :|

Hello to everyone from WV. I have a 2013 FZ6R. I also own a 2014 Kawasaki Concours 14.
The FZ6R is my "go-to" lightweight fun bike. I use the Connie for long trips and touring.
Been riding since I was about 13 years old, and am now approaching my 62nd. birthday!
Went a new direction with bikes so selling my FZ6, I bought the bike at 10,000 km and all miles after that have been put on by me using it for trips and country rides. its now at 73,000 km (45,000 miles)
All touring related mods:
Heavy weighted Stainless Steel Bar ends...
Krauser Panniers complete with carrying bars. The rear carriers were adapted by me to fit a 2001 Fazer 600, all brackets were made from stainless steel and the rear carrier from aluminium angle. These are very strong and very large panniers, great for touring. I am based in St Leonards near...
Finally got it (after wanting one for about 3 years)! Was thinking to sell FZ1, but that bike is SO much fun and now that I don't need to use it for touring.. may just keep it as a hooligan machine! :sinister:
Hey all,
I apologise if this has already been covered in another thread, I couldn't seem to dig it up.
I'm wondering if a 2007 or 8 upper fairing and screen can be attached readily to a 2006 FZ6S?
Would like to fit a touring screen but options are limited by the year model!!
Cheers for any...
