Hey everyone new here just got a single owner 09 fz6 with 12k miles on it!!!! Super stoked as this beast is so much fun! I’m 6’3 around 215 pounds. Only thing I don’t like is the seat, i ride about 100 miles a day and I don’t think I’ll have passengers on the bike and am looking for a new seat I’ve seen the Corbin recommended and others hate on it... any recommendations!

Welcome to the forum, great looking bike. Yes, the stock seat sucks. The Corbin saddle is an improvement, but they are expensive and the shape isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. If you are handy, you can re-cushion the seat yourself with dual or triple density foam, yielding a result every bit as good, if not better, than the expensive aftermarket units. The upgrade will cost you about $40-$60 for the gel foam. If you want to replace the cover rather reuse the original, add another $60. You’ll need a staple gun and some sharp blades in your utility knife, that’s it. A hair dryer makes stretching the cover (especially a new one) easier, but doing the work in the sun works every bit as well.

Look up on YouTube some people doing the work and you’ll realize that an aftermarket seat is unnecessarily expensive.

I am using this one. I like it. It is wider and more comfortable than stock. Costs less compared to Corbin and looks better on the bike too imho :)
