This week I did the headlight mod and pod lights. 2 very simple mods. I originally only wanted the pod lights, but got to thinking it would look weird if I had the low beam off and only 1 headlight were on..so I opted to do the headlight mod too. I did the bd43 headlight mod. Super easy. And I followed these instructions on the pod light. Pod Running Lights - How-To - Sportbikes.net
Instead of soldering into the turn signal wires I used crimpable splices found at any hardware store. I also wanted my pod lights to function as running lights ALONG WITH turn signals (I still have stock signals, not flush mounts). To do this all you have to do is wire the pod lights into the blue and brown wires on the Left side and the blue and green wire on the Right side.
I am leaving the blue LED's in for now. I also have amber ones in case the blue gets me in trouble. Here's a picture.
