For the past few years we haven't run the stock tire huger/chain guard. When the yearly state safety inspection would come around I would have to dig out the huger and hardware.
Well I finally got around to completing what I promised my wife years ago. I made a chain guard for her 2007 FZ6. I bought a section of 4ft. - 1.5" X 1.5" angle weldable aluminum. Not really sure what "weldable" is suppose to imply, I guess its a different grade of aluminum versus "non-weldable" aluminum? Dunno, don't care...
Once I was all done with fabricating the guard I powercoated the whole thing in engine wrinkle black, which is a perfect match to the stock PC.
