probably a silly question but want to be sure. Today I loosened the bolts that hold th handle bars and twisted the bars into a much better position for me, then adjusted the clutch and brake in the same way. Is this safe and normal practise?

The riding position is now more upright for me and much more comfortable, a simple change and I feel I have much more control and comfort.

When tightening the bolts, torque down the front bolts first and then do the rear ones. There should be a gap between the clamp and base in the rear and none in the front.
