After a lot of searching I think this is the jacket for me. I'm guessing it would be about perfect for riding in Michigan.

Anyone out there have one? What's your experience with it? What's the elbow and shoulder armor like, the dense foam-hard plastic stuff? Does the elbow and shoulder armor stay in place good?

I think I'd want to buy the more robust armor for the chest and back.

Did a little research and ran into this. Review: Alpinestars T-RC-1 Air Flo jacket - Ducati.ms - The Ultimate Ducati Forum
Of course in our day and age of lack of integrity it could just be a mistake. Read this review and you'll see the conflicting info about dry cleaning only. The jacket does come with a rain proof liner and from my personal experience, I've never had a textile type jacket suffer from hand washing and hang drying.
The jacket looks great! My a$$ has been literally save by my A* gear!

I ended up ordering this jacket from Revzilla and rode with it the first time this morning. It's a great jacket! The air flow is good.
