Always Cap Your Oil Immediately

Just a quick note from my experience today changing my oil.

NEVER-EVER put a bottle of oil on the garage floor without the cap on. Even for a minute because you will kick it over like I did.

This isn't the first time but is for along time. This is my rule and as soon as I violated it I kicked it over.:spank:

Capping also minimises the risk of contaminating the oil with foreign matter.

Its almost as bad kicking over an empty bottle. Its like one of those slow motion moments trying to stop it from falling over.

A little bit of oil in a bottle looks like a hell of a lot when you spill it don't it

Mine comesin the gallon size. That would be a BIG spill!

yup, just changed my oil Saturday as well. Capped it as soon as I refilled it with the used oil for transportation to the recycling place.
