Anyone up for a tour of Tassie!

Im taking just the one jacket , my Dririder all season touring jacket

Kel's is a Dririder all season thing aswell only her's has a padded warmer zip in liner than mine...

I have it on good authority the Tassie isnt over hot in March

My biggest dilema is helmets , I need a new one but I love my AGV to much to part with it LOL & there are soooo damn many of them :(

So far the OGK FF5 & Shark S-900 are leading the way for a replacement  but my AGV , my darling old AGV....

My biggest problem at the moment? What jacket/jackets to take.

I have my Teknic leather (perforated so pretty good); my Rivet Freeway winter jacket (removable lining) and my brand new Teknic summer airvent jacket that arrived today

Really, I have to decide between my summer airvent and leather as I will have to take my Freeway jacket - waterproof, but as a summer jacket - it's far too hot, even with the lining removed.

Oh, decisions decisions

I am taking my leather jacket with removable vest type liner, and my Clover Full length "Rally" style jacket, which is just about completely weather proof, but bloody hot in the height of a summer day.

I might pack my mesh jacket as well, which is awesome on a really hot day, as it is virtually completely mesh, with armour...completely see-thru!

Only one pair of riding pants...My R-jays Diablo's with full armour, and a set of overpants for when it rains...

I intend to give the pants at least 3 "sponge baths" whilst we are away....

Only one pair of boots...Sidi Vertigo's.

3 pairs of gloves...Alpine Stars GP Pro's, RST waterproof winter gloves, and a spare set of Diavlo Sports gloves, oh and a few pairs of rubber gloves, and thermal inner gloves...just in case it get's cold...

Neck sock, Thermals, and my lid!

Fine my end

:(:(:(

Is that the AGV that took a huge Hailstone hit???

I'll try my new mesh jacket out at the weekend and decide between that and my leather. I'm taking 2 pairs of Draggins - I can wash these at the houses we're staying at :), my Berik GPX boots (waterproof), my Rivet Freeway waterproof jacket, my wet weather overpants (very un-sexy...) and 3 pairs gloves - Dri-rider Norics, Alpinestar SP1 gauntlets and octane shorties. And my butterfly Shoei ;)

Not sure about the other half yet. I'm sure he'll post when he decides.

Ok, we're sitting here with a beer, watching the KFC 20/20, with the Map of Tassie in front of us - we've just noticed one thing.

Where are the straights?

There are 2 straights on the whole island....

:cheer::cheer::cheer:

Mikey, Mikey, Mikey :shakehead:

Sports finished.

Now watching "I'll Be Back" while waiting for my home-made lasagna, to cook.

And it's a PAPER map of Tassie.

It's the real thing. Sorry to disappoint you :(

Hmmmm, sitting here, Saturday night off work, considering riding stuff for this trip...am thinking, how often i am going to have to ride with a full touring load???

Which brings me to an even more interesting thought, we need to make ourselves a "running sheet"!!!!
