I have a 2008 FZ6 with 6 thousand plus mile temp was about 98 degrees and the bike temp was at 110 degrees.
As i was on my way home from work the ride was normal i felt no difference in the bike. After exiting the freeway the first stop light i came to i squeezed the clutch to put the bike in first gear and applying on the breaks. Then the bike got quiet so i look at the engine rpms and it was sitting at zero. But all my light were on didn't hear the fan or anything on. I hit the start switch again and it started just fine. Then today I started it up let it idle for a bit then drove off and at the stop light the rpm needle was jumping from 500 to 1200 rpms.
So in all do you think that warranty covers my bike still?
What can be the problem?
Any ideas or suggestion will help.
Thanks for your help

Yes your Warrenty will cover your bike 1 year unlimited miles.

Yours sounds like a loose plug or poor ground. It could also be a faulty or loose kick stand switch but the rpm jump says it may be a loose plug. Its hard to tell on the internets.
