I've always looked forward to the Air Force Academy graduation because the Thunderbirds do a flyover then and I live right over the hill from the AFA. Before all the budget cuts, they used to flyover home football games as well.

Great video! I live not quite 3 miles from the runway at MCAS Miramar which used to be NAS Miramar Top Gun. No need to say I've seen a few air shows and mostly free as they practice before the yearly air show during the week.
I recognize some of the areas in that video as Anza Borrego Desert where they also practice and I've seen quite a few other aircraft while off roading in the desert.

One day a Blue Angel was so low I thought I was going get sucked out of the house when it went by! Lol!

I've seen them perform live at Jacksonville Beach, Fl. I've also seen the AF Thunderbirds perform as well.

For me the inside camera view is awesome. They always save them for last at the local air shows to keep folks around.

The HP to weight ratio is absolutly un-believeable and until you experiance that thrust, pictures just don't do it justice. When your insides are literally vibrating from these machines performing, there's, for me, no words to explain it....

Wouldn't mind a career change if I wasn't so old!! :thumbup:
