Well a new tire is supposed to come in today and since my tire is on its last leg...I want to burn it out

So how do you pull a burnout on an FZ?

learn on a small bike, then carry those stuntin' skiilz onto your fz if you must...
but just mash the front break and throttle at the same time and dump the clutch whist leaning forward....:cheer:

Just be sure to burn out the tire, and not the clutch.
I did it once with my old tire but I felt bad afterwards.

It felt like i was raping the bike. I said sorry to her and promised I never would do it again.

first find a nice horizontal piece of asphalt. and get on the bike.
Stand up, put it in first gear and squeese the front brake very hard.
Roll on the throttle and let go of the clutch gently. When you feel the clutch is engaging, give more throttle and let go of the clutch. When your done, just pull in the clutch while ALL THE TIME you keep braking hard.

For your first time trying put some water down on the ground to help it get spinning first. It takes cordination and be careful to not release the front brake.

Just make sure you wear a helmet and don't do it like this....:rof:

haha put your front tire against a wall; not a curb- a wall, and still lean forward, this way if you let off the front break you can't go too far...

I think his friend was talking about leaving a darky on the garage floor but then he launches out of the garage and hit's his dad's car in the driveway! LMAO!

I wouldn't do it, but if you are going to, watch some of these first...

Definitely keep weight FORWARD (i.e., stand up off the seat) and make sure your tire is not warm and sticky to begin with...otherwise you'll learn how to wheelie.

I agree with the rape comment from Bram. Bike sounds like its in pain when u do a burnout. So i dont do them. Plus i enjoy my chain, clutch and sprockets :)

If you know how to do one right it puts no more wear on anything then the tire than hard acceleration does

Flip Flops and/or no helmet or gear + Burnout attempt = Fail?

Judging from the videos, I think your best chance at success is to wear protective equipmunk and not videotape. Videotaping the attempt automatically increases the chance of failing :D

I guess until you become a burnout expert you might spend a bunch of tire life, hurt the clutch, hurt the sprockets, stretch the chain and possibly over heat your engine or hurt your valves. I'm down to learn on someone else's gixxer :spank:

Gotta love all them boyz that Tach'd it! Too funny watch'n em be idjits wreckin shi|t!!! I needed a laugh after today! Thanks!

You dont have to be a expert, you just cant be scared, or hesitate and have to be coordinated. If your scared or hesitate then they usually let the clutch out too.slow or to fast and that is what damages driveline components
