As long as you have physical clearance you should be able to make one for just about any bike. I would think the important things would also be material and sealant. Research the best material that is chemically resistance to oil etc. The mating surface must be flat and clean so the glass plexiglas/Lexan can mate to the casting. My choice for the seal would be like RTV silicone. Then there's drilling and tapping and you may have to make a retainer or dressing/bezel ring. Probably the best way is to buy a spare cover mod it and keep the original as a spare.
