Just ordered one today. Will post pictures and write a review when it gets here. Talked to Mark, the sole proprietor. He said the 60" model will fit the FZ6 with nothing "touching it". That model is $325 with an $85 shipping fee (it weighs 72 pounds) to a residence. It is about $20 cheaper for him to ship to a business location nearby. Always wondered about using those. Looks interesting. Can't wait to see some pics of yours and how well it fits an FZ6!

I am garageless myself and the cover I have does nothing to protect from moisture. Like normal nylon, anywhere the fabric touches the bike it gets soaked. USELESS! Also I've read that over time a loose nylon cover will rub the painted surfaces dull.

The CycleShell is on my (long) list of things I need...

You should find a quality sportsbike cover. I forget the brand of mine but it cost about $90 from the shop and it only touches the bike on the handlebars and the tail light. I have no mosture problems.

if you are parking your bike outside
it advertises the bike as expensive to thieves
plus where is the opening for a ground anchor?
its big gap for somebody to crawl in to
this is a bad design, overtly expensive, plus all them parts that move are likely to fail

heres my one snug and cheap and lasted me years

I don't know about quality, but I saw a pic here in the last week or two where someone was showing their bike and it looked like it was in one of these CycleShell things. Looks pretty cool to me.

I've been thinking about getting a RideIn. same basic idea. I get lazy about dragging out the cover and adjusting it. being able to just flip something over seems nice.

wow that sounds very comfy, plus its dual purpose
let me see some pics when you finished
you could maybe have a tv in there running offf your battery
and you could take the seat off and use as a pillow.
i bet you would even get advanced orders from bikers who go touring lol

Look....all in good fun. I do validate your saying that it is expensive. I have had it a good while and had no problems with it. It would be easy to anchor to the ground. As far as keeping the homeless out......now THAT, would depend on the neighborhood!

Gap insurance and wheel lock alarms are great things for owning bikes. The biggest two reasons for me to get this was: 1. Convenience 2. Having a cover that didn't actually touch my bike

well im in a bad neighbourhood and maybe i get paranoid about security sometimes, so i guess if you lived in a gated community, then the chance of vagrants would be low
i have a design idea for the camper, what you think?
maybe beef up the wheels tho
they actually put children in these things lol

I like it.........not sure if you can be too paranoid about security. Have three friends that had their bikes stolen (all on separate occasions). One was actually in a gated community!

Just makes me glad to live in Oz....

My bike is parked in the carport, visible and accessible from the street at all times.

I know, I probably should lock it or something.....
