Deployment update

Hello everyone, it's been a while. Thought I'd give you an update, especially one with good news!! My son has been deployed to Iraq, we have been given flight window for his return....yay :cheer:... even better that they are earlier than expected :rockon: He has also been recommended for a meritorious promotion to E6, the board will meet & he will know by the end of the month, so everyone cross your fingers & say a little prayer. This deployment has been tough, they all have been, but this time his really good friend was KIA & he seems to be coming to terms with his own mortality, he is no longer that fearless little boy that jumped out of the top of a tree to see if he could fly (yep, he really did)....lol Despite his loss he still wants to stay in & continue his dream. :america:

Thank God he's coming home! That is awesome news!

Great news! Glad to hear he is coming back early! :thumbup: Sorry for the loss of his friend though. It can be a crazy world out there.
