error 51 and 52

Hi
I'm a newbie here, I have a 2006 fz6 which I bought accident damaged. I have it ready to start now, but it won't. The immobiliser unit was cracked in the accident and when I turn on the key the dash board lights up correctly and then shows "52" on the bottom of the dash and the red key light continues to flash.
I managed to borrow another immobiliser and ecu from a breakers which had a smaller crack in the immobiliser casing and when I put this one on it does the same but shows "51".
Does anyone know what these codes mean as they are not in the manual, and if they know do they have any suggestions to get me started?

According to my Haynes manual,

51:
Symptoms: Signal from key not being received by immobiliser receiver
Possible Causes: Interference from other keys or magnet
Faulty key transponder
Faulty immobiliser transceiver

52:
Symptoms: Code from key not recognised by immobiliser transceiver
Possible Causes: Interference from other key
Unregistered key used

Thanks for the info; so does anyone know if I can buy an immobiliser and red key and just put it on my bike to solve the problem?

go talk to the dealer parts dept. They may have to cut a new key, and program it to the bike.
