Still quite chilly on the East coast.. Joe and Elyse (who's 9 years old, by the way!) left the house at 8am. By the time they got to my place (11:30-ish) they were pretty well frozen! Some hot chocolate and we were ready to head back out.

Wish we could've ridden longer.. it warmed up nicely in the afternoon. Joe and Elyse put in an epic day (especially for her first long trip out).. well over 300 miles.

Thanks for the pics Erci. Looks like a good time had by all...and a little hot chocolate will cure many ailments..:D

Looks like an awesome day of riding!

Joe,

Your girl must be a tough cookie! 300 miles for a first long trip ain't no joke.

We need another NJ get together soon.

Just waiting for parts to finish modding my fizzrr.

Thanks, she's a tough one all right! I cant upload the pic for some reason, but we stopped for a coco and a donut on the way to Erci's house. When I took her helmet off her teeth were chattering! Not a peep from her to complain:rockon:

Erci, remarkable pictures, thanks for sharing.

Joe, it is awesome you can spend time with your "tuff" girl on the bike and that she enjoys it as well.

+1 Eric has a knack for taking great pics and I'm thankful for that!
I love every minute I'm on the bike and I hope the kids will too:thumbup:

I forgot to add this to the post's...
During the initial stop for coco, before we got to Erci's house, I got no less than 7 compliments for taking my daughter on the bike! You'd assume people would frown upon such an event. The most commom of the comments was "My Dad used to take me out on his bike when I was her age." That put the biggest smile on my face:thumbup:

And the fact that she WANTS to go again!
