This morning my starter button stopped pressing in. I opened up the housing and played around with the switch and can now get it to sort of press in and start the bike. It is not consistent.
I called a Yamaha dealer and was told that they sell the entire assembly for $120, not just the switch inside.
However, it is just the small switch that needs to be replaced. Does anyone know the part number for the ignition/start button? Or if there is a common replacement that I can plug in. I figure most of the Yamaha bikes probably have the same/similar button.
