At my old house, I employed the horn-wife method for opening the door. There is too much distance for this to work at the new place so I put an old opener in my tank bag. This worked well enough but I wasn't satisfied.
Without further ado, I present the sleeper opener.
Here's a clip of it in action.
Followed this:
Installing a Garage Door opener on your Motorcycle
The opener fit perfectly under the seat under one of those rubber straps. I used a deans connector there should I ever need to pull the opener out.
It took some finessing on the switch side, but in the end it was straightforward and well worth the effort.
