As you can see, it is down to the wear indicators, and is starting to feather quite nicely on the edges.

Sheesh, in the old days we would of ridden around for another 6 weeks on that Baby.,..dont know what Mikes on about!!!!! :Flip:

Ok, just got back from tonight's night ride...far out, it is still so hot out there..still 30c +!!! Was very quiet out & about, even at the beach, it seems that everyone is hiding in front of their air-conditioners!

Took it very easy tonight, quick beach cruise, a stop at the Airport, a few runs up & down the B road...then home.

Stumbles left us at the Airport...family calls...Mike and me stopped for FU Iced Coffee, and a smoke for me at Windy Point...

Not our longest night ride, but definitely our warmest!!!

Typically stinking hot day here in Adelaide (I know I left a word out...lol) and with the exception of the ride home there was very little relief, even in the hills. Corro Valley. Some great little cool spots through there:cheer:.

And Macca's frozen cokes do little for your thirst but can freeze one side of your brain:eek:.....don't say I didn't warn you.

Naaah, it was total frontal brain freeze for me....has been for about twenty years now! :eek:
 
Still like the idea of the slushy filled camel back jacket. Keeps your back cool and gives you a nice shlurpy squishy to shlurp away at while you ride:cheer:.

Well, I won't have to wory about the heat for a bit, missus is still a bit narky. The bike is a work commuter ONLY for a bit, or I'll be single :( (hmm, thinking thinking :rof: )

Anyway, not keen on the Maccas frozen coke, made me even more thirsty.

Maybe that intervention we were talking of last night is in order after all! :eek:

As for frozen drinks, i reckon Iced Water in the Camel back is the way to go!

Especially if your riding in this heat....:eek:

If you're riding in this heat, iced water in the under durps would be just about necessary:D. It was supposedly 45.7 degrees when I was riding to work today.:eek: Get real friendly with a duck in a romantic fashion that's hot. Flamin' insane. And of course the air conditioners at work pack up and go home after 37 degrees...lol....a heat cut out switch on an air con for 37 degrees...lol....WTF were they thinking?:spank:...lol. So tonight I was working in 40.5 degree heat with around 95% humidity.......I came home a kilo lighter:eek:.

Anytime you want...This Sunday works for me! BBQ & Beers at my joint after the ride, whilst chilling in the pool! We should make it an afternoon ride, as the Pool is much more pleasent to be in when the Sun has got lower in the sky....is fully exposed during the early Afternoon, and your head gets roasted!

Say a 3pm ride to lobethal, back by 5.30 - 6pm, Sanga's, Chops, Beers...Swim! Anyone up for it this week...it's gonna be mighty hot!!!!!! Pool is GOOD!

Don't normally do pools, but I guess I could bring my dive gear and some tanks for snooze on the bottom...lol. Of course I'm always up for a ride.:thumbup::rockon:

you shoulda come straight to my place from work today mate.... Pool is good! Anyone from SA who wants to come over anytime for a swim....just pm me! Pool is there to be used!

In fact I am heading back there now.
 
Ive had the heat turned off the spa for 2 days now and cant get it under 37, i was hopeing to be able to jump in to cool off but aint gonna happen.
