I got my 2007 100% stock blue FZ6 about a month ago (February 2014) for $3,000. Had 8,400 miles and came with a brand new set of cortech saddle bags and tail bag!

I know this thread is old but.... I spent $3600 on my used 07 FZ6 with only roughly 6,000 miles on it in 2014 . About $220 in sales tax.

For everything to put it on the road, about $4400 total.

Dropped once or twice, fixed and pieces replaced form the Garage.

Cost me 4800 CHF

The Garage also took care of everything law-related e.g. getting a number, making the MFK (Checkup by the state) montage of the L(öli)-Plate. Had used tires, changed them after 5kkm.

There are temptations to get like Honda CTX700 or 2015 Vulcan S...but Yamaha FZ6 so reliable and easy maintenance and cheap too...and this bike is best for commute as 5.1 gallon tank,,,I fill once every 2.5 days for 185 miles (1 bar left!)

2008 raven black. Its in showroom condition. Safety inspected for 2 years. Registered. Fluids all changed. New break pads. New front tire. Not even a smudge on it. All stock.

Bought mine end of season 2013 from private seller. Custom paint, Devil Racing Exhaust, custom seat, belly fairing, tinted Puig screen, K&N air filter. It's a 2007 and had 24,XXX km on it. paid $4400, had to safety myself (needed nothing). And this was a great deal for what I was finding at the time. I had been looking for several months too!

Since then, bought 3 x 5L jugs of Rotella T oil, 1 x 5L Rotella T6 Synthetic, grips, bar ends, engine guard, frame sliders, front axle spool sliders, rear axle spool sliders, red enamel paint to match the bike when I paint over the mustard yellow of the Purolator oil filters... lots more on my wishlist lol

-Aftermarket givi windscreen and stock
-Luggage rack
-His and hers jackets, gloves, and helmets.

With majority of mods in my signature (all the performance ones anyway), had 14,800km on it. Fresh warrant of fitness (similar to MOT I believe), 12 months of registration (licensing fees, worth $400 NZD for this bike), brand new battery. Also only had 2 previous owners, first being a guy who worked for Yamaha NZ, 2nd being a cop who I bought it off.
I felt it was a good deal being that it was the naked model (which I wanted) and the lowest mileage I could see available in NZ.

It came with Cortech 2.0 tank bag, FE, everything stock, sliders and 2 helmets (1 being modular HJC and another one is KBC, regular), OEM bike cover.
came inspected(couple weeks before I purchased), fluids topped, oils changed, and a new front tire.
