I love my FZ6

I love your bike too........even if it is blue.

What'd you put on your headers to make them black?

That is just from wear and tear over 6,000 miles riding this year. The patina began to form after riding in the rain one day. I just wash them, I've never polished them.

In reality it isn't that dark, I think a lot of it is the flash in the photo.

Oh and thank you!

Hey Dominic - I will but I need to get on my PC. My wife is watching Season 3 of Lost on it right now. I'm on my iMac and it doesn't have any FZ photos on it.

No problem Pete, just want to get an idea and put a big :D on my face when i see it. One other question. I was looking at the kick plate extension, the extra hardware that need to be bought, is that for mounting of the extender to the rear set. What i saw/did was on the brake side, i took off the hardware, flipped the washer and used the existing bolts to the kick plate/extender and does the new hardware go in the old holes to the bike ( i hope that made sense. Basically, use the old on the plate/extender and the new in the old holes.

I know what you mean! I have the same bike and it's awsome. It's put the joy back in commuting and the fun on the evenings and weekends. I've always been a two wheel dude. From motocross to trail riding to riding on the street it's all lots of fun. It's great to have this forum. I really appreciate all the great people on this forum and all there insite and experiences. I just hope it dosen't break my wallet! HA HA! Thanks :beer

Blue?? are you fugging nuts?? What color do you turn when you choke? How do you feel when your sad? How about that wacked out blue man group. Yeeeeeeeeew.

Now Candy Red, well there is something to get excited about. Think of a pair of perfect full lips or Ferrari F1. RED sexy RED.

Sorry I had to break it to you blue people.

Glad you had a good day Pete but Blue is still just..........blue zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

:rof: :rof:

What is the color of embarrasment??? Methinks RED!!!!!!

Silver wins, hands down... Like the "Silver Lining" on every cloud. (p.s. I nearly bought the blue myself)

Sorry for the "Off-topic" hijack, please resume regular scheduled posting.

Sometimes late at night when we are alone and the moon is just right in the sky, the smell of freshly cut hay wafting on the wind, a gentle breeze stirs in my garage and I love my FZ6 too.

LOL LOL LOL

Its ok though, that sorta thing is legal and Kentucky and Texas too.

i havent ridden mine for a while now due to weather and lack of rider buddies .ive only clocked up 560 miles from the showroom, but this site reminds of the good times to come, and every now and then i peak into the garage just to make sure its all for real..roll on the better weather and get rid of this hatefull corrosive crap they spray on the roads throughout winter..i love all your bikes..i just love mine a little bit more ..once you have black you never go back :Flip:

Freshly cut hay???? What the heck are you smoking up there in Kentucky? More like freshly burnt clutch and the sweet smell of race fuel. :D

This thread has cheered me up no end:thumbup:. Thanks for that. And now, I'm going to jump on my beautiful blue beast and go and remind myself why I got the faster blue one. Reminds me of the time I Blue by a silver one and I blue by a red one etc.etc....LMAO:Flip:

I'll try to get some nice night riding video.:rockon::rockon:.

Cheers
Mike

LMAO!! That cracked me right up, never heard that before. :rof:

If the red were red, I would've bought it, but the red is more burgandy. Candy Apple Red, or GMC's Fire Red, THAT would look sharp. But I still love my blue bike

lol The main reason I am thinking about painting my Busa blue is because a lady at the show called my bike "nailpolish red" Jeesh. I think a Yamaha blue on the Suzuki with that Chinese symbol would look HOT!

eh, I don't like the Chinese letters. why? Because I don't speak it or read it and I know it. Paint it blue with a CUSTOM graphic like a cartoon badass graphic of a flaming head with pigtails flying! LOL

LOL good idea. Actually, really good idea. hmmm.....

*wanders away to get paper and a pencil* time to doodle.

im sure it just means hyabusa in japanese..which is in fact a dig at honda..

honda released the blackbird, then suzuki released the hyabusa which is a japanese eagle..guess what its farourate prey is..yep blackbirds

EDIT:i did a quick search just to confirm what i heard..hyabusa and its japanese symbol actually means falcon..close enough i guess
