After a few near misses in the snow in London Ive decided to "be safe be seen" and have added these headlights.
What do you think?

Looks cool! ... can you take a couple of close up shots in the daylight so we can see how you have that setup? Thanks!!

Yeah no probs.
It was about 10 pounds on e bay.
It takes about 20 minutes, you splice the parking bulb wire and plug it in to the light.
The photos dont do it justice, its really bright.:D

Not sure about your state law, but the set up you have would be illegal in Nevada. Here, a motorcycle cannot have more than two headlights.

Driving lights are not considered headlights, but looks like they are definately headlights.

Interesting law... would also affect the stock setup on my Triumph Sprint, with 2 lowbeam lights, and a third, center highbeam.

Google is your friend....

" NRS 486.281 Head lamps.

1. Every motorcycle or moped shall be equipped with at least one and not more than two head lamps.

2. Every such head lamp on a motorcycle shall be located at a height of not more than 54 inches nor less than 24 inches from the ground as measured from the center of the lamp to the level ground upon which such motorcycle stands without a load."

in another related section....

"The law also allows the use of not more than two “auxiliary passing lamps” mounted on the front of the vehicle “at a height of not less than 24 inches nor more than 42 inches” in height. NRS 484.577(3). A vehicle may also have two fog lamps on the front of the vehicle at “not less than 12 inches nor more than 30 inches” in height, as long as none of the high-intensity portion of the left light projects ahead 25 feet at a level higher than 4 inches below the center of the lamp. NRS 484.577(4). While all of these lights are allowed on a vehicle, Nevada state law says that, whenever any of these auxiliary or other lamps on the front project a beam of greater than 300 candle power, not more than four such lamps may be lighted at any one time while the vehicle is on a highway. NRS 484.591(2). "

This one makes me wonder how many candlepower a 55 watt driving light typically is.....
