I am gathering the parts for my upcoming R6 fork swap on my 05, and I'd like to see how to mount the dako81 fender adapters. Can someone who has done this swap post some pictures of the S1 fender on the R6 forks?

Thanks

I don't even know if you have to cut the S1 fender???
On the S2 the short 25mm link goes in the rear and points down. So shove the fender in with a towel between the tire/fender for a small space and see what lines up. Hang parts as needed to align.

You find some calipers? Hopefully FZ or R6S...

Thanks Randy. Pretty sure i will figure it out, just like to do all ky disc9very ahead of time.

And i got a pair of FZ6 S2 calipers in hand. Waiting for caliper seals and brake pads. Cant wait to get it all together.

trepetti, I've got R6 forks on my S1 as well as the dako81 fender adapter kit. Did NOT have to cut the fender at all. Took a bit of fiddling to understand which mount goes where (which direction) but that might have been due to the Coronas.

Hit me up if you'd like some close-up pics

Pics would be great, thanks. I have only 1 pair of fender adapters, so they go either on the front or rear mounting point.

I finally have all the parts needed to start the project. Would you be able to take some pictures of the S1 fender on the R6 forks?

First, I apologize for not having pictures for 04-06 or 07 kits
I have had an IT brain drain, lost pictures some how.
If anyone that installed my kits would send me a picture of the
Installed kit I will be sure to supply such pictures with all kits sold.
Thanks Brad
