New bike, now here come the mods!

After a loooong night and some cussing, finished installing the2wheels turn signals all the way around the bike. With virtually no electrical skills I managed to get the signals to all work correctly, integrated brakes, integrated tail light, it's pretty sweet. I'll add pics and video soon, time for bed now though. Anyone know of a good way to mount the stupid turn signals? I have them so they're decent, but the problem is it's putting a threaded shaft into a wierd football shaped hole. I may CNC some special washers with that shape to hold them.

Alright guys, here's a video of the new signals, you get the idea. The quality is pretty crappy using my 4 year old kodak pos, but it works. Went on a ride yesterday and the guys behind me said they new every signal time I was hitting the brakes, and the guys in front said my bike was unmistakeable from the front with the bright driving lights, which is pretty much what I was going for! And yes, I'm rocking the movie in my pajamas and sandals with socks. That's just how I roll. :rockon:

Turn signals are from the2wheels.com. Taillight is from motodynamic.com. They ARE bright. On the ride yesterday in the sunlight the guys said they were waaaayy more noticable than stock even. One guy said it reminded him of an ambulance's brakes. One beware, it is ridiculous to wire these, I spent 10 hours total doing it, since you have to run new wires to the lights since they each are doing more than they initially did, and lots of cutting, soldering, splicing, etc. It took a lot of thinking on my part since I've never done anything like this before. I found it easiest to remove the whole tail section to do it. But the end results were worth it, it's going to be hard to miss my bike now.

Reed, a company called superbrightleds.com makes a plug and play relay for the bike. It's 12 bucks shipped. You HAVE to have something to slow the signals down to work with that tail light. The company is based out of st louis and is a really kickass place. They sell replacement LED's for virtually every vehicle light bulb out there. And really top quality lights too.
