Hey Guys
I bought my bike a few months ago 2008 Fz6. Im from Houston, TX. Just had a question. Every time i gas the throttle i can hear a wolaring sound coming form my chain I check the slack on it and it was in limits. What can be causing this sound and is it safe to ride around with? Thanks if you can help.

The chain may be a bit tight, try lubing it. Check your oil, you may be hearing tranny noise. It might also be intake noise, these things aren't the quietest when wound up.

I agree with most that she may need lube and check the tension....I over-tightened mine once and it made a wierd sound. should have around an inch of play.



what date exactly did you get your bike?

^I want to make sure I was first with an '08

Thanks for your guys info. I will check it out this weekend. For the guys that the wolaring sound like. It sound like a ball bearing missing some balls inside of it. Once again I will check this weekend and thanks alot for your help.
