Look what I just bought!:D It's a 1999 Ninja 250 with about 7,000 miles on it. It's been sitting for a couple years so I'm planning on going through it front to back before I put it back on the road. Not bad for $700.

I loved mine too. It was my first bike. I kind of wish I still had it so I could ride it harder. Instead, I sold it to a friend to get my FZ :)

One of the all time great bikes, IMO. Congratulations and enjoy.

Sounds like a steal! I'm trying to talk my sister into a Ninja 250 but she's almost set on a Honda Rebel 250. Oh, why can't I talk sense into the girl :)

Nice find....put some pirellis on that thing and rail.

I have 12 of them ranging from a 1987 (Original Ninja) to a 2005. Just picked up a 2001 last week. They are great bikes and I use them to teach the MSF Basic Rider Course on the military bases.

PPPSSSSSHHHHHFFFFFTTTTT....that's nothing. I've got 67 of them. :Sport:

Congrats on the bike!! That is a great price. Around here you cannot find them in good shape under 1500.00. My buddy is looking for one now for that price. Team Green....Great Color (SAFE). That bike does not blend in a crowd very easily.

Hey awesome deal and nice bike, gotta love the kawi green! My girlfriend just bought an 09 Ninja 250 in Kawi Green over the weekend.

Ninja 250 is so much fun I tell ya. I had an opportunity to test ride the 08 model from my buddy for about half an hour or so, and I had a blast. I mean is slow and all, but if you keep it rev high it does some justice. Great beginner bike and its very light and super maneuverable. But it’s no FZ6.

The mods are starting to arrive. I ordered a 2008 SV650 shock and a set of sonic springs to match my weight. I also received new levers, plugs and a few other things.

I guess it's time to start the tear down!
