You just said that this is the finished bike....

It's ok to admit that you thought it was, I've made mistake before, plenty. Difference is I can admit when I'm wrong lol

Lol by the way the shock is in that image too, that blurry red coiled looking thing

But you are absolutely right it's not about me or you I was just trying to help you see it.... Sorry.....

Oh come on!! You guys have hijacked a perfectly good thread and I can't even tell what you're arguing about. Let's get back to the topic: jtarkany's bad-assness.

i appologise
yes great looking bike
and yes this thread is not about me or cheesy sorry chevy
so jtarkany great job

the R6 swingarm looks amazing and suits the bike way more! it swoops the same as the main frame swoops.

if someone wanted to do a swingarm swap, would it be possible without needing to fab major parts? keep stock shock? I mean, there are places that will CNC online from a solidworks file for fairly reasonable costs but for all I know it could be a more strightforward swap?

it just looks so much better than that cheapo bar that looks like it came off my ninja 500.

Wrong thread for a "how to fix your bike". You might wish to start a new thread or use the the search function and you will find others. 4doorfocus I think was one user who had some pictures. There is no "drop in" you must fab mounts and such.

jtarkany, how goes it? I'm still waiting to break in your custom dual center exhaust! :D

i think hes mad because some idiot hijacked his thread
for my part i appologise and will ask a moderator to remove my posts in this thread.
so that he can show us his bad a$$ bike

Not mad, unaware :D I am very close to completion. In fact I am fitting the final pieces this week and then washing her up on Saturday. I still have one final project that may take a week or more. After that I will post up the completed project with pictures, and hopefully a drive by of the exhaust.

Thanks for being patient

wow great job, she looks sweets, dont like your headlight tho, it looks weedy in comparison.
but the seat looks great, out of interest, wheres the tail light?
probably at left side, but i think it under the seat would look great plus safer too :)

Yes, it is an integrated taillight with blinkers tucked up under the seat.

Your ride look sick! Agree with STE... Gotta do the mid ship exhaust! I have 2 stock exhaust coming back my way from customer (sold 2 last week) I'll see if I can ship one your way to see if it fit.

Your doing a great job!

I appreciate the offer, but the exhaust is done :D

I'm curious as to how you mounted the rear shock. I would love to do the r6 swingarm swap myself but have pretty limited fab skills. Awesome build, you're my hero.

I fabricated a new subframe to accommodate the shock and the 'bobbed' seat at the top. For the bottom mount, there is a brace that runs across the bottom below the swing arm mount. I added a mounting point on this to mount the dog bone linkage.
