Hey guys im back again
No my fz6 isnt broken it still runs fine
Sorry i have to post here But what im working on now is 06 gsxr 600
Does anyone here have any idea why this bike wont crank when hot?
220F hot the push start button wont work but if i jump directly to the starter relay the bike cranks but not run

If i let it cooldown
Everything works fine easy push start and she idles good revs crisp its just when hot starter button is not working

Quick history check
The bike has this issue even before he burned his stator and R/R
Replaced both and new battery
Still has the same issue

Gsxr forums not any help

Thanks!

Without a roadmap it will be harder to understand what the issue might be.
Off the top off my head it sounds like the ECU is not allowing starter, fuel and ignition function based on temperature.
If this is the case, there is probably a temperature sensor (a thermistor). Find the thermistor and measure its resistance at cold temperature. Put a resistor of that cold temperature value or close, on that input to the ECU. Run the engine to see if it will behave. It may run a little rich when warmed up but if it will run you may have found a place to start.

Starter relay is failing!
I pulled the starter motor and one brush is sticking not making proper contact
Replaced carbon brush assy cleaned and greased
After everything is put back together the bike wont crank even when cold
It turns out the starter relay!
ticks but not throwing full 12v to the motor or sometimes nothing.

Ive done repeated test above and under 220F cranks and start everytime

Gonna have to ride for a real test after i deal with other issues

Thought you were saying you bypassed to the starter and the starter ran but the bike didn't run.

Not the start button but the starter relay and the starter motor runs weak when heat soaked acts like a dead battery so carbon brush was the culprit.
