Hey gents, I've been riding my ol' FZ6 around Colorado this last week, and I figured ya'll might like some pictures. I've been focusing on the Colorado Springs area since that's where I'm staying, but next week I'm going to hit the Rocky Mountain National Park and such, so stay turned.

Top of Pikes Peak, view of the road up. Yes it was as fun as it looks!

One of the best roads I've ridden, Hwy 67 to Deckers and then 126

Did you hook up with Brenda?

Not sure who Brenda is?

That would be me! ;)

And welcome to my backyard! Garden of the Gods is 5 miles from my house. I would have suggest a coffee meet, but my son is here right now from Florida....maybe next time?
We went up Pikes Peak on Thursday and it snowed......looks like you got luckier as far as weather.

p.s. I just got back from RMNP last week so if there's any info you need, I'd be happy to help if I can

Less motorcycles in these pics, and more scenery!

It was a wet and dreary trip up to Estes Park, but the roads were fantastic as usual.

My campsite at the Long's Peak Campground. I rode up to Estes Park looking for a cheap backpack because I wanted to hike up to Chasm Lake right under Long's Peak. No joy. Turns out my neighbor George in the campground had a daypack he wasn't using and i was in business!

Went to bed in the rain and woke up to a misty, wet, cloud over the whole area but me and my new-found hiking buddy Natasha decided to go for it anyway!

We broke the treeline and "Hey look! I think I see something.....!"

We made it off the mountain just in time for a ridiculous thunderstorm to roll in which made me decide to go back to Colorado Springs and try other parts of the RMNP later when the weather was better.

Hwy 6 Between Golden and Idaho Springs wasn't near was fun when the road was all wet, but it was still pretty fun.
