Sad on more than one front...
2 dead in motorcycle crash on Rte. 101 in Stratham | Local News - WMUR Home
Thats sad to hear, no reason to go that fast let alone with 2 up.
*shaking head* .. not nearly as sad as when a rider gets taken out by a drunk driver, but certainly needless.

It is sad, and with 2 people I could agree that 119 is too excessive. For me to slap someone's wrist though for going that fast in general, however, would be hypocritical. I have hit 130 on mine, but am very careful about how and where and when, but it's still dangerous.
It is my personal belief, having been raised riding dirtbikes, that riding a motorcycle of any type you must personally accept that at some point you will crash. It's not a matter of 'if' you'll crash, it's a matter of 'when' and 'how badly'. Obviously that's a simplification but still.
It's sad, however I feel more for the passenger than the driver, he made the decision to go that fast with a second rider. The passenger would have had a harder time stopping the excessive speed (hardER, not impossible).
