speedometer bracket

I'm sorry for this, i know this is already posted on here (i've read it before) but for the love of god i can't find it again. Im looking for a how to on a speedometer bracket for an 06 that uses the old bracket (cutting it up) thanks in advance and sorry for the double post:rockon:

What do you mean "old bracket"? Cutting original fairing stay to use as speedo bracket only?

yea they took the old fairing stay and cut it up to work and be able to fit it to the upper triple tree or the handlebars. i have it sip tied right now not to bad of a solution for now

Hmm.. can't find it either. I know most either make their own brackets or get one from a forum member LEAN69. That's what I used to have on mine.

No.. sold the bike a while back (thought I may still the original unpainted prototype in the basement).

It wouldn't work for you though.. mine was a 07.. so different speedo.
