Many months ago (about 18) my Brother in Law had a wreck on his FZ6. It would start and ride after the accident but one day it was left out in a horrific hailstorm and has failed to start since. I told him to bring it to me and I would look to see what I can do (decent knowledge of cars, tinkered with my own Bandit 600 a fair bit). None of the fairings are attatched or lights. The lights do turn on when connected. When the bike is turned to "on" no noises ( I seem to remember you used to be able to hear the fuel pump) thumb the ignition and there is a buzzing noise coming from the starter relay (sounds like the old "operation" game buzzer) replaced that, drained the fuel tank, cleaned out the rust, put new fuel in same noise! Checked the fuses the "EFI" fuse was blown, replaced it...same noise. There is a larger electrical connector on the clutch side of the bike under the seat that when I turn the key to "on" it will click once and after I try to start the bike it will begin to click quicker over and over.
Getting a little frustrated.
Please advise.
